DC Trip
Sydney, Kim and I had a great time in DC. The weather was perfect. We covered a lot of ground in three days and mastered the Metro system to a fine art. Here are just a few pictures. I still have others I need to upload.

Happy Easter
We started out with a pretty good Easter Sunday. It was a beautiful day - about 80 and sunny. We went to an early service at 8 am then to the Country Club for brunch. After brunch Sydney got sick. She helped Carly collect the eggs the bunny left in the front yard then she was in the bed the rest of the day with a 101 fever. Needless to say I did not get as many pictures as I would have liked.
Sydney and I are headed to Washington DC today for her Spring Break. We are staying at the best place in town called Uncle Bill and Aunt Becky's Place. We are very excited about the trip and hope to have lots of great pictures for next week.

Carly is walking
Carly has the walking down pat now. Needless to say she is on the go. She likes to make a bee line down to Sydney's room. Sydney thinks it is sweet right now but I am looking forward to the day Carly starts taking things back to her room.

Walking
We have had some beautiful weather. Here are some pictures of Carly outside checking on the flowers. She was studying them very intently and would not look up for nothing.

49er Day at Smith School
Sydney had 49er day at school last week. They are starting to study the gold rush period in CA history. They got to dress up and do a show. Sydney has a really cute pink cowgirl hat that she let her friend borrow. In exchange she got to wear a Crocodile Dundee hat that I bought years ago in Australia. She was thrilled to wear it.
